Cheryl Hardin

In creating unexpected combinations of color, shapes, and ideas, Cheryl Hardin's seascape and landscape paintings are captured on canvas in a fluid and impressionistic style. She works in oils, using both palette knife and brush to create a unique combination of realism and moderate impressionism. Bold strokes and muted colors create mood, balance, and emotion in her work; imagery spills onto the canvas as she paints. Cheryl began painting professionally in 2000 and has studied with some of the finest contemporary artists in the nation, including Bill Davidson, Roseta Santiago, Pris Buttler, Ann Templeton, Dee Beard Dean, and Ken Wallin. Her current memberships include the Quinlan Visual Arts Center and The Georgia Art League. In 2009 and 2010, Cheryl served as President of The Georgia Art League. She currently serves as Membership Chair and Webmaster of The Georgia Art League.
