Ruth Money

Ruth is an artist who, while being involved in creative arts for a lifetime, only began painting seriously three years ago. Her work is representational and seeks to elicit a mood, a feeling, or an emotion and, sometimes, social commentary. She has studied oil painting with Daud Akhriev, Skip Lawrence, Nan Carver, Roseta Santiego, Pris Buttler, Dee Beard Dean and Bill Davidson.

Ruth’s work has been accepted in juried shows at Dalton Creative Arts Guild, Reflections: Georgia Women Artists, the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, and The Georgia Art League of Gainesville, GA where she has been awarded Second and Third places and several Honorable Mentions. Ruth exhibits in the Lanier Village Art Shop, The Quinlan Gallery and the Peach State Bank Gallery.
