August 2009, Georgia Art League Juried Show Winners

This show is on display now through November 9 at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in the Studio Level Galleries. The show was judged by well-known artist and educator Debra Nadelhoffer, whose insightful comments were so valuable to us all at last month's art critique meeting. Debra didn't have an easy time judging our exhibition. She said the obvious breadth of experience and widely-varied mediums show strength and commitment from us as artists. She spent a great deal of time with our works, and finally came to the following awards:

Second Place: Dolly Alexander, Fisherman's Solitude, Pastel





Third Place: Jo Tarabula, California Coast, Watercolor





Honorable Mention: GeorgeAnn Moore, Red Roof Barn, Watercolor and Ink
