"Each moment I get to spend painting is truly a gift. I paint many of my
paintings on location "en plein air". It is a wonderful challenge to
paint outdoors amid the bugs, wind, heat and cold. My larger studio
paintings are usually based on these smaller paintings done outdoors.
The majority of my still life and figurative paintings are also done
from life as well. Painting is a great adventure and I hope that my
paintings capture the excitement I feel as I grow as an artist."
